I have had bunn coffee makers for years. My last one only lasted 2 yrs and quit working. When I called bunn and explained what happened they said they would have a new one sent to me in a week or 10 days because of the holidays. To my surprise it arrived here just 3 days later. I am very pleased with Bunns customer service and response.

This is not my first Bunn. The first one I bought was 16 years ago. It replaced my old Mr. Coffee coffee maker and I never looked back. My first Bunn had an issue 12 years into service. The warming plate broke. Thanks to my electrically inclined husband, it was just a fuse. He repaired it and it continued to work. After another two and a half years of great coffee making, my over active dogs finally retired it.
I purchased this model to replace the broken one. If I get half the years as my old one I would be happy.
Main points about this maker:
1. Makes a pot of coffee in less than 3 minutes. Before I can get my cup and get set it's done, no joke.
2. No separate pitcher needed to add water. Won't brew till lid is closed.
3. LARGE coffee pot. Not a small 10 cup one like the rest. It fills my over sized cup the same times as the pot "says".
4. Don't need a whole pot? Make just what you need. It can make a 1/2 pot or anything inbetween.

Now the cons.
1. Must use Bunn filters only. No other filters properly fit.
2. Higher priced than others. (but worth it)
3. Must remember to turn off water heater before not using for days.

I highly recommend a Bunn. It's well worth the initial investment since it will probably be one of the last coffee makers you will have to buy.

I like this coffee maker but if you have a real fine grind, it doesn't handle it well. The basket will over flow and you will definitely have coffee grounds all over your counter top!

I own two of these in both houses and wouldn't have any other as the others just don't last!
